Technical Knowledge should include:

Five years experience in a clean-room data recovery environment
|
|
Strong working knowledge of hard drive and flash data recovery
|
|
High level of expertise in Perl/Python and other relevant tools/languages
|
|
Advanced knowledge and the workings of all major OS varieties (Windows PC-DOS, Mac, UNIX, Novell etc.) |
|
Advanced understanding of ATA and SCSI media
|
|
Applied knowledge of PC3000, HRT, and other complex tools
|
|
Programming skills
|
|
Strong grasp of FAT, NTFS, NFS, HFS, HTFS, EXT2/3FS etc. |
|
Proven experience in a research-oriented environment |
|
Strong knowledge of VMware ESX 3/4.X required |
|
Strong understanding of client-server software, networking components, server architectures, performance bottlenecks, network infrastructures |
|
Operational experience with SAN, NAS, and Fibre Channel technology preferred |
|
Disaster recovery experience preferred |
|
Computer Forensics specialization |
|
Strong skills in RAID recovery |
Daily Responsibilities:
|
Diagnosis and performance of service on varied media |
|
Efficient and effective usage of data recovery software and hardware tools |
|
Professional communication of findings to customer service |
|
Applied troubleshooting to find innovative solutions to data recovery problems |
Basic Requirements:
|
BS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited university |
|
Deep knowledge of PC Repair and troubleshooting |
|
Multitasking skills |
|
Working independently towards problem resolution – whilst still being able to succeed in a team-oriented environment |
|
High degree of professionalism and integrity required to succeed |
|
Ability to keep workspace immaculate and well organized |
|
Willingness and ability to take on and handle responsibility as required |
